Whether you're a resident of the UAE or visiting Dubai on holiday, an Overnight Desert Safari remains one of the most unique ways to experience the Dubai desert. The Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve is home to an experience that is both seamless and spectacular in equal measure, with the Arabian Adventures team taking care of every fine detail for your enjoyment. The Overnight Safari with Arabian Adventures takes place amongst pristine surroundings, where you are likely to see an array of local wildlife, in the knowledge that everything is taken care of by our team of destination experts, giving you the opportunity to sit back, relax, and take in the magic of the desert. 

The Overnight Desert Safari begins from the moment you leave the city behind. As the superhighways narrow and you leave the traffic of the city behind, you'll start to notice that your surroundings become a bit more golden. Along the way to the DDCR, you may even spot camel herds roaming the shallow plains that eventually turn to vast deserts.

Upon arrival at the DDCR, the journey towards your overnight camp begins, with special desert activities scheduled throughout your evening in the desert. You’ll have the option to take a camel ride into the camp, which is a dedicated and secluded area surrounded by local ghaf trees. This is a back-to-nature experience like no other. 

The rustic accommodation at the camp includes a double bed, with amenities throughout, and a furnished outdoor wooden deck next to a Majlis-style seating area. You'll have the option to freshen up with an outdoor barasti-style shower and return to your deck to sip a sundowner as you truly start to see the evening in.  

There’s no need to prepare your food, as you would expect on a normal camping trip, as our in-house culinary team will prepare a three-course BBQ dinner, served with soft-drinks and unlimited adult beverages for you to enjoy on the desert dunes. Savour the delicious flavours and take a seat around the bonfire, under the starry Arabian night sky. 

After a restful night, wake up to the sounds of nature and take a walk around the camp to take in the desert scenery at sunrise. A hot breakfast is served off the grill with fresh juice and coffee. 

As you leave the DDCR behind, keep your camera ready as you have the opportunity to spot some of the resident wildlife. This is by no means an exhaustive list of everything you will experience on an Overnight Desert Safari, but merely a taste of things to come!
