The Dubai Balloon, at Atlantis The Palm, offers sky-high views of Dubai, as well as a chance to see the remarkable shape of Palm Jumeirah from directly above. You will have the feeling of being on top of the world at an altitude of 300 meters, which is equal to a 100-story skyscraper.
A brief safety briefing from your pilot is carried out before take-off. When you are ready, the balloon gently rises and you will be treated to stunning panoramic views of Dubai’s skyline during your 10-minute flight. There is plenty of opportunity to move around in the gondola and take pictures of the desert city from just about every angle.
After the flight, you can shop for quality, high-end merchandise at the retail store and find your unique souvenir.

Know before you go
- The Dubai Balloon at Atlantis operates at heights of up to 300 meters, and weather conditions play a key role in when the attraction is open and how high it can fly. A dedicated team of pilots monitors the weather, ensuring safety at all times. There may be instances when the balloon cannot operate due to weather, and unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds in such cases.
- Each flight lasts 10 minutes, with a mandatory safety briefing before take-off. Depending on loading times and queues, the entire experience may take longer.
- We recommend wearing comfortable, casual clothing like shorts, t-shirts, or dresses.
- The Dubai Balloon is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Please ask a crew member for help with loading and unloading. Your wheelchair or stroller must have a braking or locking system for safety during the flight. Extra wheelchairs are available on-site for your use.
- To redeem your ticket, visit the ticket office at the Avenues at Atlantis to receive your wristband, which grants you entry to the attraction. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult over 21. For each adult with a valid ticket, one infant (under 3 years old) can join for free, with proof of age required.
- Tickets are open-dated and valid for 6 months from the purchase date.
